Millions of women are anxiously awaiting the announcement of who will play Christian Grey in the movie adaptation of the Mommy-porn sensation, "50 Shades of Grey".  And we have a feeling a lot of them would be happy to hear that RYAN GOSLING is the supposed frontrunner.

The word on that may have come from a very inside source:  The husband of "50 Shades" author E.L. JAMES.  His name is Niall Leonard and according to "Now" magazine, he said that the last he heard, Gosling was the #1 choice for the role.

The problem is, there's no direct quote from Leonard, so this could just be a case of the British tabloids doing what they love to do:  Making stuff up.
