The Cast of the All-Star Season of "Dancing with the Stars"
ABC has announced this fall's "Dancing with the Stars" ALL-STAR cast. The question coming into this was: Were they going to go for an actual all-star cast, or were they going to go for all-star ratings. Well, it seems like they went with all-star DANCERS, for the most part.
The cast includes SIX of the show's 14 winners, including the first FIVE champions. And only one "all-star" didn't finish in the Top Three in their season. That's PAMELA ANDERSON, who came in sixth on Season 10.
Here are the all-stars, and where they finished during their previous run:
Kelly Monaco . . . who WON Season One
Drew Lachey . . . who WON Season Two
Emmitt Smith . . . who WON Season Three
Apolo Ohno . . . who WON Season Four
Helio Castroneves . . . who WON Season Five
Shawn Johnson . . . who won Season Eight
Joey Fatone . . . who was the runner-up on Season Two
Gilles Marini . . . who was the runner-up on Season Eight
Kirstie Alley . . . who was the runner-up on Season 12
Melissa Rycroft . . . who came in third on Season Eight
Bristol Palin . . . who came in third on Season 11
Pamela Anderson . . . who came in sixth on Season 10
ABC will let viewers vote for a 13th contestant. Our choices are: Sabrina Bryan, who came in seventh on Season Five, Carson Kressley, who came in eighth on Season 13 and Kyle Massey, who was the runner-up on Season 11. You can vote at ABC.com/DancingWithTheStars through August 24th. The winner will be announced August 27th on "Good Morning America".
The season premieres Monday, September 24th. (For more on the cast, hit up the show's website. There's a slideshow with brief write-ups on each all-star.)
By the way, Pamela Anderson celebrated this announcement at an ABC party on Saturday night, and from the looks of it, she partied HARD. Here are some photos of her looking like a mess on her way out.) (Radar Online)
