A Man Broke Into the Sheriff’s Office and Brought Donuts as a Peace Offering

 Here’s a fascinating string of decision making . . .

A 26-year-old guy broke into a county sheriff’s office in Fairwood, Washington last week by shattering a glass window.

He said he needed to go to jail because otherwise he felt like he was going to, quote, “kill his roommate.”

But he also knew the cops would be upset.  So when he broke in, he brought a fresh box of donuts with him as a PEACE OFFERING.

It’s not clear if the peace offering worked, but the rest of his plan did . . . he was arrested for malicious mischief and trespassing.
