Anti-LGBTQ Group Vows Boycott of Britney Spears’ Pride Edition of ‘Fantasy’ Perfume

As she embarked on the UK leg of her Piece of Me tour earlier this week, the star made a stop at Brighton Pride and shared an exclusive Pride-themed edition of her perfume “Fantasy,” which benefits GLAAD. “Looking forward to celebrating love and equality at @PrideBrighton tomorrow,” the star wrote. “To help kick off the celebration, there’s a special #Pride Edition of Fantasy available now at @superdrug stores in the UK!”

But an anti-LGBTQ Facebook page, titled “1,000,000 Supporting Marriage Equality” (the group is only comprised of about 150,000 members), reposted an article about the singer’s new fragrance, saying that they would not support this fragrance. “BOYCOTT!!!” the caption read.

Spears, however, has more than one LGBTQ-themed fragrance out there. Last month, the singer made headlines with the release of her new fragrance “Prerogative,” which Spears and her team referred to as “a fragrance for all.”
