Contest Period: The first day of school for the Washoe County, NV school district August 8, 2016 and ending the last day of school June 9th, 2017 for each of the eligible high schools.
Eligibility Requirements: Contest is open to all seniors enrolled an accredited high school in Washoe County, NV including public, private, and charter schools. Excluded are on-line schools. Employees, officers, and directors of Reno Media Group, KTVN, Bill Pearce Motors, their respective affiliated companies, subsidiaries, distributors, dealers, retailers, printers, advertising, and promotion agencies, any and all other companies associated with this contest, and the members of the immediate families, households or significant others of any of the above are ineligible. Winner must have a valid Nevada or California drivers license, and proof of insurance to take delivery of prize.
How to Enter: Attend class every day. Students must have perfect attendance during the 2016-17 school year. Official school business will count as a day of attendance. To be eligible, the student must also receive a standard, advanced, honors or adjusted diploma. He or she must not have had any documented disciplinary action, as defined by the school the student attends during his or her senior year. ONE (1) winner will be chosen by random from drawing of all eligible students with perfect attendance. All eligible students must be present to win at grand prize drawing Saturday June 18th , 2016 at 1pm at Bill Pearce Honda in Reno, NV
Grand Prize and Approximate Retail Value: One (1) 2017 Honda Fit from Bill Pearce Motors MSRP valued at $20,885
Odds of winning: Odds are dependant on number of eligible students. A maximum of ONE (1) Grand Prize will be awarded and consists only of the item specifically listed as part of the prize and does not include additional options, license, insurance, title registration fees and taxes. There is no consolation prize fulfillment associated with this contest. Grand Prize is non-transferable. Upon confirmation of winning party’s eligibility requirements and presentation of proof of identification and Social Security Card, Bill Pearce Motors will provide Grand Prize, which is solely responsible for delivery of the Grand Prize. Grand Prizewinner will be required to complete and return a W-9 form or appropriate tax form, affidavit of eligibility, and liability/publicity release, and present a valid driver’s license and social security card before prize will be awarded. Grand Prize winner will be issued a 1099 form reflecting the value of the prize and are responsible for paying all income taxes on prize. As stated above, all tax, title, doc, and licensing fees are responsibility of the winning party.
Failure to collect or properly claim any prize in accordance with these rules will result in forfeiture of the prize. If forfeited for any reason, contestant will not receive any other prize substitution or compensation.
Additional Rules & Restrictions: By participating in this promotion, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by the Official Rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final in all matters relating to this promotion. If winner is found in violation of these rules he/she may be required to forfeit his/her prize. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission for the sponsor and its agencies to use winner’s name and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and trade worldwide without limitation or further compensation, unless prohibited by law. By accepting prizes, winners agree to hold sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, the promotion administrator and each of their respective directors, officers, employees and assigns harmless from and against any and all claims, damages and liability of any kind arising from or in connection with the acceptance, possession or use/misuse of any prize, or participation in the promotion or in any prize-related activities, and assume all liability therefor. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other error in the printing of the offer, administration of the contest or in the announcement of the prizes.
Reno Media Group, CC Media, KTVN, Bill Pearce Motors, and the Washoe County school district are not responsible for any errors or force majeure which prevents the redemption of fulfillment of this contest.
Reno Media Group, KTVN, Bill Pearce Motors and the Washoe County school district reserve the right to cancel contest at anytime. Any and all rule changes will be announced, and written copies made available at our offices as soon as changes are made. Copies of all rules are available during regular business hours at our offices. These rules may be changed at anytime at the discretion of the parties as stated above.
